PDF File Compress
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to your files and data when you use PDF File Compress.
Your PDF Files
PDF File Compress compresses files inside your browser using your own device. The PDF is not uploaded to our servers or to any third party, and we keep no copy. When you close the tab, the file is gone from memory. You can confirm this in your browser developer tools: the Network tab shows no upload request while a file is compressed.
What We Collect
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies at this time. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which, like any web host, may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and delivery. We do not control or use that data to identify you.
Offline Storage
The site installs a service worker that stores the page and the compression code in your browser cache so the tool works offline. It does not store your PDFs.
Cookies and Consent
We set no cookies of our own. If we add analytics or advertising in future, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Your Rights
Because we do not hold personal data about you, there is usually nothing to access or delete. If you want to ask anyway, write to [email protected].
Changes to This Policy
We update the date below whenever this policy changes. Effective date: 4 October 2026.
